The Mission of the Marion Fire Department Investigators

Investigating a Fire

Our mission is to use a Systematic Method of Inquiry. First, we must recognize the need for prevention. If there is an incident, then we define the problem. Next, we will pursue the origin and cause of the problem. Our investigation continues with observation and data collection. After that, we then create an objective and analyze our data. We develop our hypothesis to explain our findings. Finally, we test our hypothesis and challenge ourselves in review, and case assessment.
